Adjusting the Central Seed Supply system manually

In manual mode, the fan speed can be infinitely adjusted until the desired setpoint difference between the Central Seed Supply and singling pressure is reached.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The seed hoppers are filled

  • The implement is unfolded

  • The fan is switched on

  • The singling discs are filled with seed grains

The fan speed changes until the hydraulic fluid has reached its operating temperature.

  1. Depending on the seed type 2, read the pressure difference 1 from the sticker.
  2. In the Settings menu, select Products > Seed.
  3. Scroll through the menu pages with .
  1. To switch off automatic mode:

    deactivate the Central Seed Supply automatic function.
  1. To adjust the setpoint pressure difference:

    press in the Work menu

or

press in the Work menu.

The Setpoint difference Central Seed Supply and singling pressure value is set for the full hopper.

The Setpoint pressure difference for empty hopper is set for the empty hopper.

WARNING
Risk of injury due to parts of the fan being flung out
If the fan is operated at excessive speeds, fan parts can break and be flung out.
Make sure that the fan speed does not exceed 5.0001/min.
  1. Adjust the fan speed accordingly.

NOTE

If the desired fan pressure is not reached, a bigger hydraulic motor can help.
