Configuring the start-up ramp

The start-up ramp prevents insufficient spreading of material when starting up. When beginning work, the metering is applied according to the simulated start-up speed until the specified time expires. After that, the speed-dependent rate control is regulated. When the entered speed is reached or the simulated speed is exceeded, the rate control starts.

  1. In the Settings menu, select Profile > Start-up ramp.
  2. Activate the start-up ramp under Start-up ramp.
  3. Enter the desired speed for the spread rate regulation under Intended speed.

As a percent value of the intended speed, the ramp start speed defines the metering unit speed at which spreading starts.

  1. Enter the desired percent value under Ramp start speed.

Time that passes until the simulated speed is actually reached.

  1. Enter the time in seconds under Duration of the start-up ramp.
