Operating the machine sections in rigid mode

Depending on the soil properties, the machine sections can be used in gliding or rigid mode during operation.

  1. To operate the machine sections in rigid mode:

    Move the hydraulic valves 1 to the upper end position.
IMPORTANT
Damage to the universal joint shaft by tension in the drive

Before you fold the implement:

Wait until moving implement parts have come to a standstill.
Move the tractor's PTO shaft drive to the neutral position.

Depending on the tractor equipment:

Disconnect the PTO shaft brake of the tractor.
  1. Raise the machine.
  2. Actuate the green 2 tractor control unit.

The machine sections are folded.

  1. Actuate the green 1 tractor control unit.

The transport lock 1 is released hydraulically.

The machine unfolds.

For operation with rigid machine sections, the hydraulic accumulators must be preloaded.

  1. Actuate the green 1 tractor control unit for another 5 seconds.
  2. Put the green 1 tractor control unit into float position.

  3. To ensure that the rigid machine can follow the ground contours:

    Unlock the lifting struts on the tractor.
