Establishing the hydraulic supply

PREREQUISITES

  • Machine is lifted out

  • Protect the tractor from unauthorized operation

  • Firm and level hall floor

  • Instruct uninvolved persons to exit the danger zone

  1. Remove the bolt 2.

  2. Remove the securing element 1.
  3. Open the valve 3.
  4. Repeat the procedure on the opposite side of the machine.

Danger due to escaping oil
Collect any escaping oil.
Ensure eco-friendly disposal of cleaning agents used to remove oil.

So that additional installed coulters can be integrated into the coulter pressure system, open the coulter pressure system on the installed coulters.

  1. Dismount the connector 2 from the coulter pressure supply 1.
  1. Dismount the caps 2 of the additional installed coulters 1.
  1. Mount the coulter pressure supply 2 on the additional installed coulter.
  2. Install the coulter pressure supply 1 of the adjacent coulter.

After conversion from large to small row widths, replace the long hydraulic hoses on the outer rows with short hydraulic hoses.

  1. Disconnect the connection on row 1 1.
  2. Disconnect the connection on row 2 2.
  3. Dismount the long hydraulic hoses 3.
  4. Mount the short hydraulic hoses between the coulters.
  5. Repeat the procedure for installing the hydraulic hoses on the opposite side of the machine.
  1. Loosen the tensioning strap 2 from the top link 1 and lower link 3 and dismount it.

After installing additional coulters, the hydraulic coulter pressure system must be vented.

  1. Instruct people to exit the danger area.

  2. To set the coulter pressure to zero:

  3. Switch on the fan with 2.0001/min.
NOTE

Ensure the oil supply in the hydraulic unit.

  1. Lift out and lower the machine 5x.
  2. Deactivate the fan.

  3. Secure tractor and machine.
  4. Close the valve 3.

  5. Mount the securing element 1.

  6. Mount the bolt 2.
  7. Repeat steps 21 to 23 on the opposite side of the machine.
