Before the existing coulters can be mounted at the new row spacing, the supply lines for the additional rows must be disconnected.

  1. Disconnect air supply and fertilizer supply on the rear hopper, Disconnecting the air supply and fertilizer supply on the rear hopper.

or

Disconnect air supply and fertilizer supply on the distributor head, Disconnecting the air supply and fertilizer supply on the distributor head.

  1. Disconnect the hydraulic supply, Disconnecting the hydraulic supply.
  2. Disconnect the energy supply, Disconnecting the energy supply.
  1. To ensure that the coulters are firmly seated, long-term:

Clean the frame and the coulter mounting brackets.
  2. Set the fertilizer placement depth to the topmost position.
  3. Set the mechanical coulter pressure to the highest value.
  4. Set the seed placement depth to parking position P.
  5. Set the pitch of the V-press rollers to the A position.
  6. Lift out the machine.
  7. Position the transport dolly 2 under the coulter.
  8. Hook the straps 1 into the coulter.
  9. To set down the coulter with the depth control wheels 3 in the transport dolly:

    Carefully lower the machine.

Carrier rollers must be in the transport dolly.

Straps hold the coulter.

The coulter receptacle must be offloaded.

  1. Remove the coulter clamp 1.
IMPORTANT
Machine damage due to collision with the coulter mounting bracket

When the machine is lowered:

Have a second person observe the coulter mounting bracket.

The straps hold the coulter.

The coulter mounting bracket 1 is free of load.

  1. Detach the coulter from the frame 2.
  1. Guide the transport dolly with the coulter 1 into the desired position on the frame 2.
  1. Slightly lift-out the machine.

The carrier rollers 3 must be in the transport dolly 2.

Straps must be tension-free.

The coulter receptacle must be offloaded.

  1. Detach the straps 1 from the coulter.
  1. Ensure that the coulter receptacle 2 is aligned parallel to the profile rail 3.
  2. Ensure that all journal bearings 1 rest on the profile rail.
NOTE
Tighten the coulter clamp with the coulter receptacles offloaded.
  1. To tighten the coulter receptacle:

    Tighten bolts 4 on telescopic coulters 180° counterclockwise to 118,01 ft-lb (160Nm)

or

Tighten bolts on non-telescopic coulters to 147,51 ft-lb (200Nm).

IMPORTANT
Frame damage due to loose coulter clamp
After one hour of operation, check the bolts for firm seat.
  1. Lift out the machine further.
  2. Remove transport dolly.
  3. To mount the additional coulters:

    Repeat steps 16 to 23.
