Conversion to strip placement is necessary

  1. Disconnect the energy supply from the metering unit housing 1.
  2. Remove the cotter pin 2.
  1. Dismount the air separator 2.
  2. Unscrew the knurled nut 1.
  1. Open the cover 1 of the metering unit housing.
  2. If FertiSpot must be converted to band placement:

    Converting FertiSpot to strip placement.

or

If the FertiSpot rotor must be replaced:

Perform steps 7 to 10.

  1. Dismount nut 3.
  2. Clean the cover and metering unit housing with a soft brush.
NOTE

Pay attention to the rotor direction of rotation.

  1. Mount the desired rotor.
  2. Mount nuts.
NOTE
Motor control saves the calibration factor of the angle of rotation sensor on the fertilizer coulter. The spot placement covers must not be swapped out among the rows.
  1. Close the cover of the metering unit housing.
  2. Mount the knurled nut.
  3. Mount the air separator.
  4. Mount the cotter pin.
  5. Mount the energy supply on the metering unit housing.
NOTE
After replacing the rotor, If the spot placement cover cannot be mounted at the same position, then depth detection must be recalculated.
  1. Lift out the machine.
  2. On all coupled coulters, set the placement depth to position 6.
  3. In the menu Settings > Info > Diagnostics, select > Rows.
  4. Activate .
