|---|---|---|
Conversion | hydraulic coulter pressure system | mechanical coulter pressure system |
From 4 to 6 rows | Row 2 and 5 | Row 2 and 5 |
From 8 to 12 rows | Rows 3, 5, 8, and 10 | Rows 2, 5, 8, and 11 |
To ensure optimal hose routing:
Refer to the table above for the rows that must be mounted
or
If conversion options that are not listed should be carried out:
Have the desired conversion options checked by a specialist workshop.- Unfold the machine sections.
Before the existing coulters can be mounted at the new row spacing, the supply lines for the additional rows must be disconnected.
Disconnect the energy supply, Disconnecting the energy supply.
Disconnect the hydraulic supply, Disconnecting the hydraulic supply.
Disconnect air supply and fertilizer supply on the rear hopper, Disconnecting the air supply and fertilizer supply on the rear hopper.
or
Disconnect air supply and fertilizer supply on the distributor head, Disconnecting the air supply and fertilizer supply on the distributor head.

Before additional coulters can be mounted, the existing coulters must be mounted at the new position.
To ensure that the coulters are firmly seated, long-term:
Clean the frame and the coulter mounting brackets. To ensure that the coulter tilts slightly forward:
Use a longer load handling attachment on the front than is used on the rear load handling attachment.- Fasten the load handling attachment on the coulter top link 2.
- Fasten 2 load handling attachments on the coulter body 1.
To offload the coulter:
Carefully lift the coulter.
- Remove the coulter clamp 1.
- Detach the coulter from the frame.

- Guide the coulter 1 in the desired position onto the frame 2.
- Lower the coulter.
The front load handling attachment must be offloaded.
The rear load handling attachment must be slightly tensioned.
The coulter receptacle must be offloaded.
Ensure that the coulter receptacle 2 is aligned parallel to the profile rail 3.
Ensure that all journal bearings 1 rest on the profile rail.
To tighten the coulter receptacle:
Tighten bolts 4 on telescopic coulters 180° counterclockwise to 118,01 ft-lb (160Nm)
or
Tighten bolts on non-telescopic coulters to 147,51 ft-lb (200Nm).
- Lower the lifting gear further.
- Detach the load handling attachment from the coulter.
To mount the additional coulters:
Repeat steps 13 to 19.- Establish the energy supply, Establishing the energy supply.
- Establish the hydraulic supply, Establishing the hydraulic supply.
- Connect the supply hoses to the distributor head on the fertilizer hopper, Establishing the air supply and fertilizer connection on the rear hopper
or
Establish the air supply and fertilizer supply on the distributor head, Establishing the air supply and fertilizer supply on the distributor head.
- Couple ISOBUS to the tractor.
- Restart the machine.
To enter the changed working width on the control terminal:
See the ISOBUS software operating manual > Specifying the geometry.
