Checking and replacing depth control wheel holders

Interval

  • At end of season

  1. Check the depth control wheel holders.

  2. If the depth control wheel holders have worn-out areas from 0,12 in (3mm) to 0,16 in (4mm) in depth:

    Replace the depth control wheel holders from left to right as follows

or

If the depth control wheel have are worn out areas both sides from 0,12 in (3mm) to 0,16 in (4mm) in depth:

Replace the depth control wheel holders.

  1. Dismount the bolts 3 on both depth control wheel holders.

  2. Dismount the scrapers 4 on both depth control wheel holders.

  3. Dismount bolts 1 and 5.

  4. Replace the depth control wheel holders 2 and 6 from left to right.

  5. Mount the bolts on the depth control wheel holders.

  6. Mount the scrapers on both depth control wheel holders.

  7. Adjust the depth control wheel scrapers.
