Repairing the PreTeC mulch seeding coulter with the lifting gear
PREREQUISITES
Tractor and machine are secured
Firm and level hall floor
Lifting gear suitable for 551,16 lb (250kg) in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Instruct uninvolved persons to exit the danger zone
Machine is lifted out

- Remove the bracket 2.
- Remove the conveyor hose 1 from the fertilizer coulter 3.
- Disconnect the air supply on the singling unit.

To ensure that the coulter tilts slightly forward:
Use a longer load handling attachment on the front than is used on the rear.- Fasten the load handling attachment on the coulter top link 2.
- Fasten 2 load handling attachments on the coulter body 1.
- Offload the coulter mounting bracket.
- Remove the coulter clamp 1.

- Lift off the coulter 1.
- Detach the tilted coulter from the frame 2.
Dismount the journal bearings 1.
To ensure that the new journal bearings rest full-surface on the coulter mounting bracket:
Clean the coulter mounting bracket.Mount new journal bearings.

- Guide the coulter 1 in the desired position onto the frame 2.
- Lower the coulter.
The front load handling attachment must be offloaded.
The rear load handling attachment must be slightly tensioned.
The coulter receptacle must be offloaded.
Ensure that the coulter receptacle 2 is aligned parallel to the profile rail 3.
Ensure that all journal bearings 1 rest on the profile rail.
NOTE
IMPORTANT
On telescopic coulters:
Tighten the bolts 4 to 118,01 ft-lb (160Nm) -180°
or
On non-telescopic coulters:
Tighten the bolts to 147,51 ft-lb (200Nm).
- Lower the lifting gear further.
- Detach the load handling attachment from the coulter.
To replace additional journal bearings:
Repeat steps 1 to 20.- Mount the supply hoses on the singling unit.
- Mount the supply hoses on the fertilizer coulter.
- Establish the hydraulic supply, Establishing the energy supply.
