Disconnecting the hydraulic supply

PREREQUISITES

  • Machine is lifted out

  • Protect the tractor from unauthorized operation

  • Firm and level hall floor

  1. Unfold the machine sections.
  2. To set the coulter pressure to zero:

See the ISOBUS operating manual Adjusting the coulter pressure.
  3. Switch off the fan.
  4. Lower the machine. Bring the 3-point hydraulic system of tractor into float position.

The coulter pressure cylinders retract.

Coulter pressure is dissipated.

  1. Secure tractor and machine.
  2. Remove the bolt 2.
  3. Remove the securing element 1.
  4. Open the valve 3.
  5. Repeat steps 6 to 8 on the opposite side of the machine.
  1. To completely retract the coulter pressure cylinders:

    Lift out the machine again.
  2. To fix the coulter pressure cylinder in place:

Lash the top link 1 and the lower link 3 with a tensioning strap 2.
NOTE
After fixing the coulter pressure cylinder in place, the machine remains in the lifted out position until the coulters are removed.
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
Danger due to escaping oil
Collect any escaping oil.
Ensure eco-friendly disposal of cleaning agents used to remove oil.
  1. Dismount the coulter pressure supply 2 on the coulter to be removed.
  2. Dismount the coulter pressure supply 1 of the adjacent coulter.
  3. To ensure that hydraulic oil cannot escape:

Use hose clamps on the adjacent coulters.
  4. Use a suitable aid to protect the open hydraulic hoses from contaminant ingress.
