PREREQUISITES

  • Machine is lifted out

  • Machine must be clean

  • Protect the tractor from unauthorized operation

  • Instruct uninvolved persons to exit the danger zone

  • Firm and level hall floor

  • Coulter carriage or lifting gear suitable for 551,16 lb (250kg) in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

  • Mechanical coulter pressure must be set to the lowest value

NOTE
Tighten the coulter clamp with the coulter receptacles offloaded.
  1. Set the fertilizer placement depth to the topmost position.
  2. Set the seed placement depth to parking position P.
  3. Set the pitch of the V-press rollers to the A position.
  4. Lift out the machine.
  5. Position the transport dolly 2 under the coulter.
  6. Hook the straps 1 into the coulter.
  7. To set down the coulter with the depth control wheels 3 in the transport dolly:

    Carefully lower the machine.

Carrier rollers must be in the transport dolly.

Straps hold the coulter.

The coulter receptacle must be offloaded.

  1. To offload the coulter receptacle 2 without transport dolly:

    Slightly lift the coulter behind the carrier rollers.
  1. Ensure that the coulter receptacle 2 is aligned parallel to the profile rail 3.
  2. Ensure that all journal bearings 1 rest on the profile rail.
  3. On telescopic coulters:

    Tighten the bolts 4 to 118,01 ft-lb (160Nm) -180°

or

On non-telescopic coulters:

Tighten the bolts to 147,51 ft-lb (200Nm).
