Checking the disk adjustment

NOTE
The distance of the singling disk to the singling housing must be adjusted depending on the seed that is changed.
  1. In the Settings menu, selectInfo > Diagnostics > Rows > Rows > Desired rows > Desired row.
  2. To call up the diagnostic data of the actuators:

    Select actuators 1.

Under Diagnostics, the diagnosable components of the singling unit are specified. On the actuator page, the power consumption of the singling drive is specified in the right column 2.

NOTE
The power consumption of the singling drive is determined at idle with deactivated fan and without seed.
The power consumption for seeding of rapeseed, beet, or sorghum is between 0.9 A and 1.2 A.
The power consumption for seeding of coarse seed is between 0.6 A and 1 A.
  1. To determine the power consumption of the singling drive:

Activate the 3 button. Read out the power consumption.
  2. If the power consumption deviates from the setpoint:

Adjust the singling drive as described below.
  1. Secure tractor and machine.
  2. Open the catches 1.
WARNING
Risk of chemical burns due to dressing dust
Before working with hazardous materials, put on the protective clothing recommended by the manufacturer.
  1. Take off the cover 2.
  1. Remove the bolt 1.
  2. Remove locking plate 2.

The distance of the singling disk to the singling housing is set via the drive hub 2 together with singling disk 1.

  1. If the power consumption is insufficient:

Incrementally turn the drive hub together with the singling disk clockwise towards the singling unit housing.

or

If the power consumption is excessive:

Incrementally turn the drive hub together with the singling disk counterclockwise away from the singling unit housing.

  1. Mount the locking plate 2.
  2. Mount the bolt 1.
  3. Mount the cover.
  4. Close the catches.
NOTE
Depending on the seed, when seeding, the power consumption is between 0.6 A and 0.8 A.
  1. In the Settings menu, selectInfo > Diagnostics > Rows > Rows > Desired rows > Desired row.
  2. To call up the diagnostic data of the actuators:

    Select actuators 1.
  3. When seeding, if the power consumption deviates from the setpoint:

Adjust the singling drive again, as described above.
