FertiSpot

The FertiSpot metering unit enables spot application of pre-metered fertiliser. The pre-metered fertiliser is conveyed via the hose 4 into the air separator 5. In FertiSpot mode, the fertiliser portion is applied at the same time as the seed. In MultiSpot mode, a maximum number of fertiliser portions can be applied. The exhaust air is discharged close to the ground via the hose 6. The fertiliser is collected in the metering unit housing 1 and is conveyed in portions into the FerTeC coulter 3 by means of the rotor 2.

To regulate the placement of the fertiliser portions on implements with coupled fertiliser coulters, a sensor 1 transmits the placement depth to the software.

To reduce vibrations of the FertiSpot metering unit, the leaf spring-guided fertiliser coulter is pre-tensioned with a spring tensioner 2.
