Checking the FertiSpot cyclone separator

  • At the end of the season

REQUIREMENTS

  • The implement is coupled to the tractor

  • The fan is switched off

  • The filling auger is switched off

NOTE
The greatest wear occurs in the area of the fertiliser inlet 2.

  1. If small holes in the housing are detected:

    Replace the cyclone separator 5 as follows.

  2. Remove the hose clamp and exhaust air hose 1.

  3. Remove the hose clamp and conveyor hose 4.

  4. Remove the cotter pin 3.

  5. Replace the cyclone separator.

  6. Install the cotter pin.

  7. Install the hose clamp and conveyor hose.

  8. Install the hose clamp and exhaust air hose.
