From 4 to 6 rows

Rows 2 and 5

Rows 2 and 5

From 8 to 12 rows

Rows 3, 5, 8 and 10

Rows 2, 5, 8 and 11

NOTE
Depending on the conversion that is performed, new supply hoses for air supply and/or fertiliser supply are required.
  1. To ensure optimal hose routing:

Refer to the table above for the rows that must be installed

or

If conversion options that are not listed should be carried out:

Have the desired conversion options checked by a specialist workshop.
  1. Unfold the machine sections.

Before the existing coulters can be installed on the new row spacing, the supply lines for the additional rows must be disconnected.

  1. Disconnect the energy supply, Disconnecting the energy supply.
  2. Disconnect the hydraulic supply, Disconnecting the hydraulic supply.
  3. Disconnect the air supply and fertiliser supply on the rear hopper, Disconnecting the air supply and fertiliser supply on the rear hopper

or

Disconnect the air supply and fertiliser supply on the distributor head, Disconnecting the air supply and fertiliser supply on the distributor head.

Before additional coulters can be installed, the existing coulters must be installed in the new position.

  1. For long-term tight fit of the coulters:

Clean the frame and the coulter mounting brackets.
  2. To make the coulter tip slightly forward:

Select a longer load lifting device at the front than at the rear.
  3. Fasten the load handling device on the coulter top link 2.
  4. Fasten 2 load handling devices on the coulter body 1.
  5. To relieve the coulter mounting bracket:

    Carefully lift the coulter.
  1. Remove the coulter clamp 1.
  2. Release the coulter from the frame.
  1. Move the coulter 1 to the desired position on the frame 2.
  2. Lower the coulter.

The front load lifting device is relieved.

The rear load lifting device is slightly tensioned.

The coulter mount is relieved.

  1. Ensure that the coulter mount 2 is aligned parallel to the profile rail 3.
  2. Ensure that all journal bearings 1 are touching the profile rail.
NOTE
Tighten the coulter clamp when the coulter mount is relieved.
  1. To tighten the coulter mount:

Tighten the bolts 4 on telescopic coulters to 160Nm minus 180°

or

Tighten bolts on non-telescopic coulters to 200Nm.

IMPORTANT
Damage to the frame due to loose coulter bracket
After one hour of operation, check the bolts for tight fit.
  1. Continue lowering the lifting gear.
  2. Release the load lifting device from the coulter.
  3. To install the additional coulters:

    Repeat steps 13 to 19.
  4. Establish the energy supply, Establishing the energy supply.
  5. Establish the hydraulic supply, Establishing the hydraulic supply.
  6. Connect the supply hoses on the fertiliser hopper, Establishing the air supply and fertiliser supply on the rear hopper

or

Establish the air supply and fertiliser supply on the distributor head, Establishing the air supply and fertiliser supply on the distributor head.

  1. Couple the ISOBUS onto the tractor.
  2. Restart the machine.
  3. To enter the changed working width on the control terminal:

See ISOBUS software operating manual > Defining the geometry.
