Checking and replacing the depth control wheel brackets

Interval

  • At the end of the season

  1. Check the depth control wheel brackets.

  2. If the depth control wheel brackets have scouring to a depth of 3mm to 4mm:

    Replace the depth control wheel brackets from left to right as follows

or

If the depth control wheel brackets have scouring to a depth of 3mm to 4mm on both sides:

Replace the depth control wheel brackets.

  1. Remove the bolts 3 on both depth control wheel brackets.

  2. Remove the scrapers 4 on both depth control wheel brackets.

  3. Remove the bolts 1 and 5.

  4. Replace the depth control wheel brackets 2 and 6 from left to right.

  5. Install the bolts on the depth control wheel brackets.

  6. Install the scrapers on both depth control wheel brackets.

  7. Adjust the depth control wheel scrapers.
