Repairing the PreTeC mulch seeding coulter with lifting gear
REQUIREMENTS
The tractor and machine are secured
Firm and level hall floor
Lifting gear for 250kg in compliance with work safety regulations
Direct people out of the danger zone
The machine is lifted

- Remove the clamp 2.
- Remove the conveyor hose 1 from the fertiliser coulter 3.
- Disconnect the air supply on the singling unit.

To make the coulter tip slightly forward:
select a longer load handling device at the front than at the rear.- Fasten the load handling device on the coulter top link 2.
- Fasten 2 load handling devices on the coulter body 1.
- Relieve the coulter mounting bracket.
- Remove the coulter clamp 1.

- Lift the coulter 1.
- Release the tilted coulter from the frame 2.
Remove the journal bearing 1.
To ensure that the new journal bearings have full contact with the coulter mounting bracket:
Clean the coulter mounting bracket.Install new journal bearings.

- Move the coulter 1 to the desired position on the frame 2.
- Lower the coulter.
The front load lifting device is relieved.
The rear load lifting device is slightly tensioned.
The coulter mount is relieved.
Ensure that the coulter mount 2 is aligned parallel to the profile rail 3.
Ensure that all journal bearings 1 are touching the profile rail.
NOTE
IMPORTANT
On telescopic coulters:
Tighten the bolts 4 to 160Nm -180°
or
On non-telescopic coulters:
Tighten the bolts to 200Nm.
- Continue lowering the lifting gear.
- Release the load lifting device from the coulter.
To replace other journal bearings:
Repeat steps 1 to 20.- Install the supply hoses on the singling unit.
- Install the supply hoses on the fertiliser coulter.
- Establish the hydraulic supply, Establishing the energy supply.
- Establish the energy supply, Establishing the hydraulic supply.
