Adjusting the journal bearing tension
REQUIREMENTS
The machine is lifted
The machine is cleaned
Secure the tractor against unauthorised operation
Direct people out of the danger zone
Firm and level hall floor
Coulter carriage or suitable lifting gear for 250kg in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Mechanical coulter pressure set to the lowest value

NOTE
- Set the fertiliser placement depth to the topmost position.
- Set the seed placement depth to the parking position P.
- Set the pitch of the V-press roller to position A.
- Lift the machine.
- Position the transport dolly 2 under the coulter.
- Hook the belts 1 onto the coulter.
To put the coulter with the depth control wheels 3 down in the transport dolly:
Carefully lower the machine.
The support rollers are standing in the transport dolly.
The belts hold the coulter.
The coulter mount is relieved.
To relieve the coulter mount 2 without a transport dolly:
Slightly lift the coulter behind the support rollers.
Ensure that the coulter mount 2 is aligned parallel to the profile rail 3.
Ensure that all journal bearings 1 are touching the profile rail.
On telescopic coulters:
Tighten the bolts 4 to 160Nm -180°
or
On non-telescopic coulters:
Tighten the bolts to 200Nm.
