Adjusting the hydraulic supply

REQUIREMENTS

  • The machine is lifted

  • Secure the tractor against unauthorised operation

  • Firm and level hall floor

  • Direct people out of the danger zone

  1. To close the coulter pressure system after removing the coulters:

    Install the connector 2 in the coulter pressure supply 1.

After conversion from small to large row widths, replace the short hydraulic hoses on the outer rows with long hydraulic hoses.

  1. Disconnect the connection 1 on row 1.
  2. Disconnect the connection 2 on row 2.
  3. Remove the short hydraulic hoses 3.
  4. Install long hydraulic hoses between the coulters.
  5. Repeat the installation of the hydraulic hoses on the opposite side of the machine.

After removing the coulters, the hydraulic coulter pressure system must be vented.

  1. · Direct persons out of the danger zone

  2. To set the coulter pressure to zero:

    Refer to the ISOBUS operating manual, Adjusting the coulter pressure.
  3. Switch on the fan at 2.0001/min.
NOTE

Establish the oil supply to the hydraulic unit.

  1. Lift and lower the machine 5 times.
  2. Deactivate the fan.

  3. Secure the tractor and machine.
  4. Close the valve 3.

  5. Install the fastener 1.

  6. Install the bolt 2.
  7. Repeat steps 13 to 15 on the opposite side of the machine.
