Checking the disc setting

NOTE
Depending on the seed change, the distance from the singling disc to the singling unit housing must be adjusted.
  1. In the Settings > Info > Diagnosis > Rows > Rows > Desired rows menu, select Desired row.

  2. To call up the diagnosis data for the actuators:

    Select Actuators 1.

In the diagnosis, diagnosable components of the singling unit are listed. On the actuators page, the power consumption of the singling drive is listed in the right-hand column 2.

NOTE
The power consumption of the singling drive is determined at an idle with deactivated fan and without seed.
The power consumption for seeding rapeseed, beets or sorghum is between 0.9 A and 1.2 A.
The power consumption for seeding coarse seed types is between 0.6 A and 1 A.

  1. To determine the power consumption of the singling drive:

    Press the button 3. Read the power consumption.

  2. If the power consumption deviates from the setpoint:

    Adjust the singling drive as described in the following.
  1. Secure the tractor and machine.
  2. Open the locks 1.

Before working with hazardous materials, put on the protective clothing recommended by the manufacturer.
  1. Remove the cover 2.

  1. Remove the bolt 1.

  2. Remove the locking plate 2.

The distance from the singling disc to the singling unit housing is set using the drive hub 2 along with the singling disc 1.

  1. If the power consumption is too low:

    Progressively turn the drive hub with the singling disc clockwise on the singling unit housing

or

If the power consumption is too high:

Progressively remove the drive hub with the singling disc counterclockwise on the singling unit housing.

  1. Install the locking plate 2.

  2. Install the bolt 1.
  3. Install the cover.

  4. Close the locks.
NOTE
While seeding, the power consumption is between 0.6 A and 0.8 A, regardless of the seed type.
  1. In the Settings > Info > Diagnosis > Rows > Rows > Desired rows menu, select Desired row.

  2. To call up the diagnosis data for the actuators:

    Select Actuators 1.

  3. If the power consumption deviates from the setpoint while seeding:

    Adjust the singling drive again as described above.
