Checking the PreTeC coulter mounting bracket

Interval

  • At the beginning of the season

REQUIREMENTS

  • The machine is lifted

  • The machine is cleaned

  • The tractor and machine are secured

  1. Measure the distance between the coulter mounting bracket 1 and the profile rail 2 with a feeler gauge.

  2. If the distance is larger than 2,5mm:

    Adjust the journal bearing tension, Adjusting the journal bearing tension

or

If the distance is smaller than 2,5mm:

Replace journal bearings, Replacing journal bearings.
