Coupling the transport frame

To reduce tractor rear axle load, the rotary cultivator is connected to the transport frame.

  1. Slowly drive the tractor towards the transport frame 2.
  2. Lower the implement.

Adjust catch sockets 3 to the same height as the transport frame 1.

  1. To shorten the hydraulic top link:

See section Using the hydraulic top link.

The transport frame 2 is taken up with the catch sockets 1.

  1. To lock the hydraulic top link:

See section Using the hydraulic top link.
  2. Lift out the implement with the coupled transport frame.
  1. Remove the linch pins 1.
  2. Activate the locking lever 2.

The transport frame 3 is locked.

  1. Secure the locking lever with a linch pin.
  2. Lower the implement together with the transport frame.

The wheels of the transport frame are touching the ground.

IMPORTANT
Implement damage when driving with coupled transport frame
Place the hydraulic top link in float position.
Ensure that the hydraulic top link does not reach the end positions while driving.

If the hydraulic top link reaches the end positions due to road conditions:

Lift out the implement.
  1. To bring the hydraulic top link into float position:

see section Using the hydraulic top link.
NOTE
The transport frame is designed for forward driving only.
  1. To maneuver the implement in reverse gear:

    Lift out the implement.
