Reconfiguring the gears in the manual transmission

NOTE
Set the speed of the universal joint shafts to 1000 . Lower universal joint shaft speeds cause a higher torque on the universal joint shafts. This causes the cam-type clutches to wear more rapidly.
Only use universal joint shaft speeds lower than 1000 for light sandy soils or very shallow soil tillage.
If the cam-type clutch triggers too frequently, immediately increase the universal joint shaft speed to 1000 .
  1. Depending on the selected gear 2, selected universal joint shaft speed 4 and the desired tine speed 3:

Determine the necessary gear ratio 1.
  1. Place the soil tillage implement on a solid, horizontal surface.
  2. Slightly tilt the soil tillage implement forward. Support it with suitable aids.
  3. Remove the peripheral cover bolts 2.
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
Danger due to escaping oil
Collect any escaping oil.
Ensure eco-friendly disposal of cleaning agents used to remove oil.
  1. Dismount the gearbox cover.
  1. Dismount both lock rings 1.
  2. Dismount the gear wheel pair 2.
  3. Swap out the gear wheel pair.
  4. Mount the gear wheel pair.
  5. Mount both lock rings.
  6. Mount the gearbox cover with seal.
  7. When the gearbox has reached operating temperature:

    Check gearbox for leaks.
