Adjusting the volume division of the two-chamber hopper

On machines with a two-chamber hopper, the hopper volume of the hopper chambers can be adjusted.

Depending on the size of the seed and desired application rate, the division of the volumes can be increased or reduced.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The machine is parked on a level surface.

  • The machine is connected to a soil tillage machine

  1. Open the roller tarpaulin 1.

  1. To remove the charging sieve 1 from the hopper chamber to increase the volume:

    fold up the fastener.
  2. Take out the charging sieves.
  1. Hold the partition unit by the handle 2.
  2. Loosen and remove the bolts 1 with a suitable tool.
  1. Place the partition unit 1 on the opposite side.
  2. Install the bolts and tighten them.
  1. Attach the charging sieve 1.
  2. Fold down the charging sieve fastener.
  3. Close the roller tarpaulin.
