Adjusting the air supply for fertilizer delivery
PREREQUISITES
All fans must be switched off
The front fan provides the air current for the fertilizer delivery, the seed singling unit and for the Central Seed Supply system. If no fertilizer will be spread, the air supply for fertilizer delivery can be deactivated. This reduces the required fan speed.
Read the air flap position for the fertilizer delivery 1 from the sticker.
If the implement is equipped with the Central Seed Supply, the air supply of the fertilizer delivery is adjusted with the 3-way air distributor. If no fertilizer will be spread, the air supply for fertilizer delivery can be deactivated. This reduces the required fan speed.
- Unscrew the knurled nut 1.
To deactivate the air supply for fertilizer delivery:
Bring the air flap 2 to position 3
or
To activate the air supply for fertilizer delivery:
Bring the air flap to position 10.- Tighten the knurled nut 1.
To adjust the fan speed with the tractor control unit:
Setting the singling pressure with the tractor control unit.
or
To adjust the fan speed with the boost pump:
If the implement is not equipped with the Central Seed Supply, the air supply of the fertilizer conveyor is adjusted with the 2-way air distributor. If no fertilizer will be spread, the air supply for fertilizer delivery can be deactivated. This reduces the required fan speed.
- Unscrew the nut 1.
For high fertilizer application rates:
Open the air flap 2 to level 3 maximum
or
For lower fertilizer application rates:
Close the air flap to level 7, maximum.
- Tighten the nut.
If no fertilizer will be spread, the air supply for fertilizer delivery can be deactivated. This reduces the required fan speed.
Unscrew bolt 1.
To deactivate the air supply for fertilizer delivery:
Close the air flap 2 in level 10.- Tighten the nut.
To adjust the fan speed with the tractor control unit:
Setting the singling pressure with the tractor control unit.
