Residues or excess air in the fertilizer conveyor section

If only a little fertilizer is conveyed or if large residual quantities remain in the fertilizer conveyor section, the air current can be finely adjusted.

If the implement is equipped with the Central Seed Supply, the air supply of the singling units is adjusted with the 3-way air distributor.

NOTE
Set the air flap in the range from 3 to 7, maximum.
  1. Unscrew the knurled nut 1.

  2. If fertilizer is blown out of the furrow:

    Incrementally close the air flap 2

or

If excessive residues remain in the fertilizer conveyor section:

Incrementally open the air flap.
  1. Tighten the knurled nut.

If the implement is not equipped with the Central Seed Supply, the air supply of the fertilizer conveyor is adjusted with the 2-way air distributor.

NOTE
Set the air flap in the range from 3 to 7, maximum.
  1. Unscrew the nut 1.

  2. If fertilizer is blown out of the furrow:

    Incrementally close the air flap 2

or

If excessive residues remain in the fertilizer conveyor section:

Incrementally open the air flap.
  1. Tighten the nut.
