Coupling the drawbar load increase
PREREQUISITES
Hydraulic hose couplings are coupled
WARNING
Position the carriage 1 as low as possible in the bearing block with the pin 3.
Mount the spring cotter pin 2.
If the carriage cannot be mounted in the bearing block:
Position the ball hitch coupling mounted on the tractor as low as possible in the bearing block.
Park the tractor with the trailed machine on level ground. Align the tractor straight ahead.
Mount the shackles in the carriage.
The pivot point between the two shackles 2 is over the ball hitch coupling 1.
If the drawbar load increase is operated with the pin coupling:
Mount the adapter 2.
The pivot point is over the ball hitch coupling 1.
To de-tension the hydraulic cylinder:
Open the valve 1.
To ensure that sufficient force is applied on the drawbar, the angle must be less than 55°.
- Extend the hydraulic cylinder 1 to 27,95 in (710mm) ± 0,79 in (20mm).
If the chain is aligned twisted:
Turn the piston rod 2 by 90°.
WORKSHOP TASK
Shorten the chain 1 to the desired length with an angle grinder.
Check the adjacent links for damage.
If the adjacent links are damaged or if a longer chain is needed for a different tractor:
Replace the chain with an original part.
For use of the machine:
Close the valve 1.
