Using the drawbar load increase

PREREQUISITES

  • Hydraulic hose couplings must be coupled...

The shackles 1 and chain links 2 are worn by tensile forces and movement during operation.

WARNING
Risk of injury due to lift off of the drawbar

Stay away from the tensioned drawbar load increase.
Precisely follow the steps below.
  1. Check shackles and chain links for damage.
  2. If the shackles or chain links are cracked, bent or deformed:

Replace defective components with original parts.
  1. For use of the machine:

    Close the valve 1.
NOTE

If the drawbar load increase is run with the lower link hitch, leave the lower links at the set height.

  1. Unfold the machine sections.
  2. To load the hydraulic accumulator 3:

Activate the tractor control unit green 1 for an additional 10 seconds.

The pressure gauge 2 shows at least 2.175,57 psi (150bar) preload pressure.

  1. If the preload pressure of the drawbar load increase is less than 2.175,57 psi (150bar):

Check the valve setting. Activate the tractor control unit green 1 for an additional 10 seconds.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to lift off of the drawbar

If the drawbar load increase cannot be preloaded over 2.175,57 psi (150bar):

Stop operation.
Have the drawbar load increase checked by a specialist workshop.
  1. To offload the drawbar load increase:

    Fold the machine section.
