Protecting the machine against freezing temperatures

IMPORTANT
Danger of implement damage due to freezing temperatures
Follow the instructions below.
  1. Clean machine via intensive cleaning.
  2. Drain the flushing water tank via the hose connection at the bottom of the tank.
  3. Remount the hose connection.
  4. Run the spray liquid pump.
  5. Pour in 5,28 gal (20l) of antifreeze containing propylene glycol through the flushing water tank opening.
  1. Select flushing water on the TwinTerminal and confirm.
  2. Select for pressure valve chest DA.
  3. Select for switch tap SF.

Antifreeze will be pumped into the spray liquid tank.

  1. Select on the TwinTerminal and confirm.
  2. Open stop tap IR for 30 seconds.

Antifreeze will be distributed in the liquid circuit.

  1. Open stop tap KS for 10 seconds.
  2. Select for switch tap SF.
  3. Spray into the spray liquid tank with the spray lance for 10 seconds.
  1. Select for pressure valve chest DA.
  2. Switch on spraying until antifreeze emerges from the nozzles.
  3. Collect the sprayed-out liquid.
  4. Check the sprayed-out liquid for sufficient antifreeze.
  5. If there is insufficient antifreeze:

    Pour in more antifreeze. Repeat the procedure.
  6. Empty the spray liquid tank via the pump, Emptying excess spray liquid via the spray liquid pump.
  7. re-use the mixture of antifreeze and spray liquid

or properly dispose of it.

  1. To drain the pressure sensor:

    Detach the hose from the pressure sensor.
  2. Empty the hand wash tank.
