Calibrating solid spreading material

If the set and the actual spread quantity of solid spreading material do not match, the quantity can be adjusted with a calibration factor. The new calibration factor will be determined during the calibration.

  1. In the Settings menu, select Product.
  2. Activate the product for which the solid spreading material must calibrated, Activating a product.
  1. Start the calibration under Start calibration.
  1. Check the values displayed under Intended speed, Target spread rate and Working width.

  2. If the displayed values are not correct:

    Change the respective value displayed under Intended speed, Target spread rate or Working width.
  3. Confirm the changed value.
  4. Continue.
  1. Prepare the implement for calibration according to section Preparing the spread rate check in the operating manual for the IceTiger mounted spreader.

  2. If the points shown on the display are fulfilled:

    Continue.

The spreading material metering unit starts up. The display shows how much spreading material has been spread and how long the spreading material metering unit is running.

  1. Special case: if the spreading disc remains installed and the spreading material builds up:

    Start the spreading disc drive.
  2. Confirm starting.

  3. When at least 5 kg of spreading material has been spread and this appears on the display:

    Select.

The spreading material metering unit is stopped. The next page of the menu is shown.

  1. Weigh the collected quantity of spreading material.
  2. Enter the weight of the collected quantity under Collected quantity.
  3. Continue.

The new calibration factor will be calculated.

  1. Save the displayed new calibration factor.
