Millimoles per litre, a unit of measurement for water hardness.

Parts per million, a unit of measurement for water hardness.

Degrees German hardness, a unit for water hardness.

Mixture of spray agent and water; the crop protection product contains spray agents that are diluted with water to a ready-to-spray concentration.

The field sprayer is always referred to as the machine in this operating manual. For better readability, carrier systems that are approved as Class T4.1 tractors according to EU Regulation 167/213 are also referred to as "machine".

Operating materials serve to ensure operational readiness. Operating materials include e.g. cleaning agents and lubricants such as lubricating oil, greases or cleaners.

Concentrated crop protection product

Liquid that is carried in the spray liquid tank and is sprayed out through the spraying nozzles. The spray liquid can be either a crop protection product or a liquid fertiliser.

Urea ammonium nitrate solution, a mixture of ammonium nitrate, urea and water as liquid fertiliser for providing nitrogen to the plants.
