Selecting the spraying nozzles for liquid fertilising
To apply the liquid fertiliser more on the roots of the plant than on the leaves, three-hole nozzles are advantageous.
With three-hole nozzles, the outlets are oriented downwards. The liquid fertiliser is distributed through 3 openings with coarse droplets and virtually without pressure. This prevents spray mist and formation of small drops.

With seven-hole nozzles and FD nozzles, the outlets are not oriented downwards, but rather they point to the side. This allows very large drops to be produced on the plants using only slight impact forces.
