Driving on the field

DANGER
Mortal danger due to contact of the boom with overhead power lines
If poles, hedges or other objects on the field reach the detection range of the sensor for the automatic boom guidance, the boom can unintentionally swing upward and hit overhead power lines.
Switch the automatic boom guidance off in the vicinity of overhead power lines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The induction bowl is lifted.

  • The ISOBUS control terminal is switched on.

  • The cab ladder is lifted, Lifting the cab ladder.

  1. Release the parking brake.
  1. Unlock the switch 1 and press at position 2.

Field mode is activated. The symbol appears on the AmaDrive vehicle terminal.

Depending on the equipment, the forward speed is limited to 20km/h or 30km/h.

  1. To start driving:

    Push the driving lever forward with your right hand. Operate the steering wheel with your left hand.

  2. To brake the machine:

    Pull the driving lever back. If necessary, activate the brake pedal at the same time.
