Removing the battery

  1. Use the handles at the top to open the cover 1.
  2. Disconnect the cable plug inside the cover.
  3. Carefully take off the cover.
CAUTION
Risk of chemical burns by battery acid
Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing.
Do not inhale battery gases.

If you come into contact with battery acid or battery gases:

Rinse off the battery acid thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
  1. Remove the negative terminal - first, then the positive terminal +.
  2. Remove the battery holder 2.
  3. Remove the battery 1.
  4. Store the battery protected from frost.
  5. Mount the cable plug inside the cover.
  6. Install the cover.
