Determining the calibration factor for fertilizer

PREREQUISITES

  • PTO shaft switched off

  • Mineral fertilizer spreader unit must be mounted

  • Hopper fill level must be at least 2.204,62 lb (1.000kg)

  1. Comply with the implement operating manual.
  2. In the Settings menu, select >Calibration.
  1. Enter the calibration factor from the mySpreader app or from the setting chart.
  2. Continue.
  3. Check the setting values and change if necessary.
  4. Continue.
  5. Check the other points.
  6. Bring the delivery system into parking position. Dismount hopper tips.
  7. Install the calibration chute.
  8. Place a collection bucket underneath.
  1. Open the double shutter.
  2. Start pre-metering for uniform fertilizer flow at calibration.

If fertilizer has been adequately pre-metered, the floor belt stops automatically.

  1. Alternatively stop the floor belt manually.
  2. Empty collection bucket and put it back underneath.
  3. Continue.
  1. Start the calibration.

The quantity spread and the calibration time will be shown.

  1. When the collection bucket is full:

    Terminate the calibration.
  2. Weigh the collected quantity.
  3. Enter the weight of the collected quantity.
  4. Continue.

The new calibration factor will be displayed.

  1. Save the calibration factor.

or

To optimise the calibration factor:

Save the calibration factor. Repeat calibration.

or

Discard the calibration.

  1. Prepare the machine for operation.
  2. Pour the spread amount back into the hopper.
