Determining the calibration factor for lime
PREREQUISITES
PTO shaft switched off
Lime spreader unit must be mounted
Hopper fill level must be at least 2.204,62 lb (1.000kg)
- Comply with the implement operating manual.
- In the Settings menu, select >Calibration.
- Enter bulk density in lb/gal (kg/l) or an empirical value.
- Continue.
- Check the setting values and change if necessary.
- Continue.
- Check the other points.
- Dismount lime chute.
- Start pre-metering for uniform fertilizer flow at calibration.
If fertilizer has been adequately pre-metered, the floor belt stops automatically.
- Alternatively stop the floor belt manually.
- Clear away the quantity that has flowed out.
- Continue.
- Start the calibration.
The quantity spread and the calibration time will be shown.
When approximately 500 kg have been spread:
Terminate the calibration.- Weigh the spread quantity.
- Enter the weight of the spread quantity.
- Continue.
The new calibration factor will be displayed.
Save the calibration factor.
or
To optimise the calibration factor:
Save the calibration factor. Repeat calibration.or
Discard the calibration.
- Prepare the machine for operation.
- Pour the spread amount back into the hopper.
