Selecting the source of the speed signal

  1. In the Settings menu, select Machine > Speed.
  2. Under Source, select the desired source of the speed signal.

Source

Meaning

Radar (tractor)

Signal from the tractor's radar sensor

Wheel (tractor)

Signal from the tractor's wheel sensor

Satellite

Signal from the GPS antenna

Machine, only for trailed machines

Signal from the machine's wheel sensor

Simulated

Simulated speed for checking the application rate or when no other speed signal is available

The pulses are displayed and can be changed as needed.

  1. If Machine is selected:

    Select Teach-in pulses, Teaching-in pulses per 328 in / 100 m. Alternatively, manually enter the pulses per 328,08 ft (100m) for the left and right wheel sensors.

  2. When the speed signal is simulated:

    Under Simulated speed select the desired speed and maintain this speed when working.
